Asdee % For Art

I worked with the children in the school at Asdee, in rural North Kerry (Ireland) over the course of a year.

This residency was funded through the Percent for Art scheme, (%4Art), a government scheme which funds arts projects in areas as part of capital expenditure on roads or bridges, or in this case, on a sewage scheme.

Mapping Asdee had two parts, I worked with the children involved making and printing maps of the area and used this as part of my research towards making a body of my own work based on the same theme.
